Do you how to get code for facebook like button for blog in weebly?
I have followed the instructions here
but it does not show the faces of people who has liked my post.
I will appreciate your help
Some people have this problem. But I don't know how to fix this. Perhaps Facebook has changed some confidentiality settings.
how do you create a page list weebly's list of features page with the pop out information and the list on one side.
You can choose a theme with a vertical menu style.
I am trying to arrange my web pages to accommodate ads. I was thinking of using something like PassionFruitAds.com (or similar). So I wanted to have the right hand side bar free to place any ads, say 200 wide. PassionFruits then, when they get an ad order, you just paste a HTML code somewhere and the ads show on all pages in the same place & rotate positions etc.
My questions are:
1. If I make an extra column on every page manually this is a nightmare! So is there a way to do it via the design / html page?
I wondered if I could use the dead space on the right (which cant be drag & dropped to).? At the moment I have social icons there which I placed via html. Or do I have to put the ads on the page where I drag & drop?
2. When I do sell ads space, I need to be able to put the code somewhere so it will effect all the pages, as I don't want to place each ad manually and the ad company will remove them once they expire via the code that html code they give me.
I'm sorry if this is long winded! I tried to see if you had any tips on your blog as I love your tutorials, but couldn't find anything about this.
If you take a look at this link where I started changing one of the pages, I put a few ads in place to see what it would look like,http://www.lovefoodies.com/cantonese-sweet-and-sour-chicken.html But I think it looks a mess and I would prefer the ads to go where my social button is in that dead space & I will move the social button to the left if its possible?
I would be really grateful for any advice you could offer me please.
You create a table in the HTML.
So in your code:
<td> links to ads (images) </td>
Ok, I will try that out tomorrow morning when my head is clearer! I guess in the bit where you put <td> links to ads (images) </td> is that where you put the code you get for the ad?
and do I use this code each time for 1 ad each or do I put all the ad codes in that 'links to ads' bit?
You have to put all the links there.
I have visited your mobile site. I was wondering if you would share how to edit it like you did please. I understand if you don't. Thank you for your time.
I used the multiple columns element on my homepage. The mobile version puts the paragraphs in 1 colomn.
Whoops, I should have been more specific. I was talking about the home button on the top.
I think that is standard. I didn't do anything for that.
I wondering how can I make my site a fixed width and if I go over the limit that it would make a scroll bar appear or something like that.
A few years ago Weebly had themes/layouts like that but now, they don't. And I would really like to have one for my site.
Normally you can change that in the css. If you add "overflow-x:scroll;" to a div, you will get a scroll bar if the width is bigger than your fixed width.
